If you are traveling by car, head towards Dingle, which is located in the Bohuslän region. From the E6 highway, take exit 84 towards Dingle. Follow the signs for Dingle and continue on road 172. Once you reach Dingle, look for signs indicating the Kuststigen hiking area. Parking is available near the trailhead. Note that there may be a small parking fee, so keep some Swedish kronor handy.
Public Transportation
To reach Kuststigen using public transportation, take a train or bus to Uddevalla, which is a major transit hub in Bohuslän. From Uddevalla, you can take a regional bus (Bus 811) towards Dingle. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Dingle, you'll need to walk approximately 15 minutes to the Kuststigen trailhead. Be sure to check the local bus schedules in advance, as service may be limited on weekends.
Bike
For the more adventurous, biking to Kuststigen is a fantastic option. If you are already in Dingle, rent a bike from a local shop. Follow the coastal roads towards Kuststigen, enjoying the beautiful Bohuslän scenery along the way. The bike ride is approximately 5 km from the center of Dingle to the trailhead, and it should take around 30 minutes. Remember to wear a helmet and stay safe on the roads.
