If you are driving, start from Gothenburg, take E6 north towards Oslo. After about 20 km, take exit 87 towards Kungälv. Follow the signs for Kungälv on Route 168. Continue straight until you reach Kongahällavägen. Ragnhildsholmen Castle Ruin is located along this road. There is free parking available nearby.

From Gothenburg, take the Västtrafik train towards Kungälv. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kungälv station, exit the station and head towards Kungälv city center. From there, you can take bus number 813 towards 'Kongahällavägen.' The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Ragnhildsholmen' which is a short walk to the castle ruins. Be sure to check the Västtrafik website for train and bus schedules.
