From any location in Dalarna, head towards Falun. If you are starting from the city center of Falun, take the E16 highway towards Borlänge. Follow the signs for Södra Vällanvägen. After about 5 km on E16, take the exit for Södra Vällanvägen. Continue on Södra Vällanvägen for approximately 2 km, and you will find Sanders gammelskog on your left. There is free parking available near the entrance.

To reach Sanders gammelskog using public transportation, take a bus from Falun central station to the stop 'Vällanvägen.' Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Vällanvägen, it is a short 10-minute walk to Sanders gammelskog. Follow Södra Vällanvägen north for approximately 800 meters, and you will see the entrance to the nature reserve on your right.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Falun. From the city center, cycle towards Södra Vällanvägen, which is approximately 4 km away. The route is mostly flat and offers scenic views.
