Brasserie Tullhuset resides in Gamla Tullhuset, one of Sweden's few surviving 18th-century customs warehouses. Built in 1784 as a single-story brick structure to replace an earlier timber building, it served as a hub for trade along Motala ström during Norrköping's industrial heyday. Architect Johan Fredric Fehmer designed the original, with a second floor added in 1842 by Fredrik Blom, enhancing its stature overlooking Kanontorget and Hamnbron.
