    From the Östersund city center, start at Stortorget (the main square). Head east on Prästgatan, which will turn into Kungsgränd. Continue straight until you reach the bus station at Östersund Busstation. From there, take bus number 5 towards Frösön. Get off at the 'Räntmästarvägen' stop. Once you exit the bus, Karring backen is a short walk away; head south on Räntmästarvägen, and you will see the entrance to Karring backen on your left.

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Östersund. Start from the city center and make your way to the bike path that leads towards Frösön. Follow the path along the water (Storsjö) for a scenic ride. Upon reaching Frösön, veer left onto Räntmästarvägen and continue straight until you see Karring backen on your right.
