Car
If you're traveling by car, start from central Stockholm. Head southeast on E4 towards Nacka. Continue on E4 for about 10 kilometers, then take the exit toward Nacka/Värmdö. After exiting, follow signs for Nacka and then for Blockhusudden. The lighthouse is located at 115 25 Stockholm. There is parking available near the lighthouse, but be aware that parking fees may apply.
Public Transportation (Bus & Walk)
To reach Blockhusudden lighthouse using public transportation, take the metro (T-bana) to Slussen station in central Stockholm. From Slussen, transfer to bus 53 toward Nacka. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the Blockhusudden stop. From the bus stop, it's a short 10-minute walk to the lighthouse. Be sure to check the current bus schedules for any changes.
Public Transportation (Ferry)
Another scenic option is to take a ferry from central Stockholm. Head to Djurgården and board the ferry to Nacka Strand. The ferry ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Nacka Strand, you can either take a taxi or walk approximately 30 minutes to Blockhusudden lighthouse. This option offers beautiful views of the archipelago, so it's highly recommended if the weather is nice.
