Getting There

    From Stockholm, take the E20 highway west towards Gothenburg. Continue on E20 until you reach the exit for E6 towards Kungälv. Follow E6, and then take exit 90 towards Kungälv. Follow signs for Bohus Fortress (Bohus Fästning) once you reach Kungälv. You will arrive at Fästningsparken 3, 442 31 Kungälv. Parking is available near the fortress, but there may be a fee.

    From Stockholm Central Station, take a train to Gothenburg. The train journey takes about 3 hours. From Gothenburg Central Station, transfer to a local bus (Bus 16 or 17) towards Kungälv.
