Follow signs for Bohus Fortress (Bohus Fästning) once you reach Kungälv. You will arrive at Fästningsparken 3, 442 31 Kungälv. Parking is available near the fortress, but there may be a fee.

From Stockholm Central Station, take a train to Gothenburg. The train journey takes about 3 hours. From Gothenburg Central Station, transfer to a local bus (Bus 16 or 17) towards Kungälv. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for Kungälv and follow the signs to Bohus Fortress, which is a short walk away (about 10 minutes).
