Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Uppsala Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main street (Kungsängsgatan). Walk straight along Kungsängsgatan for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Drottninggatan. Turn left onto Drottninggatan and continue walking until you see the large park area on your right. Uppsala Castle (Slottet) will be visible on the hill ahead. Keep walking towards the castle, and you will find the entrance.

From Uppsala Central Station, you can take bus number 1 or 2 from the bus stop located right outside the station. Board the bus and ask the driver to let you know when to get off at the 'Slottet' stop. The journey takes about 5 minutes. Once you disembark, the castle will be a short walk up the hill. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Uppsala Castle.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations around Uppsala. Start from Uppsala Central Station and head north on Kungsängsgatan. Follow the bike lane towards the city center and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Drottninggatan.
