Public Transport
Start at Västerås Centralstation (the main train station). From there, take bus number 1 towards 'Skälby', and get off at the stop called 'Skälby Kyrka'. This journey will take around 15 minutes. Once you get off the bus, head northeast on Skälbyvägen for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Engsövägen. Turn right onto Engsövägen and continue for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards Ängsö Slott. The castle should be visible as you approach.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Västerås. From the city center, head towards the Västerås Marina and follow the path along the waterfront. Keep going until you reach the bridge over the river, then take a left onto the path leading to Engsövägen. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
