Walking
If you are in the city center of Västerås, start at the Västerås Central Station. From the station, head southwest on Vasagatan towards Skrapan. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the large square in front of the Västerås Cathedral. From the cathedral, take a right onto Stora Gatan. Walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the bridge called Västerbron. Cross the bridge, and once you are over it, take a left onto Frösåker Brygga road. Follow this road for another 800 meters, and you will find Västerås historiska skeppsmuseum at Frösåker Brygga 7.
Bus
From the Västerås Central Station, take bus number 4 towards 'Hässlö'. The bus stop is located just outside the station. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Frösåker'. From the bus stop, head south on Frösåker Brygga road for about 500 meters. You will see the Västerås historiska skeppsmuseum at Frösåker Brygga 7.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the city’s many bike rental stations. Start at the Västerås Central Station and head southwest on Vasagatan. Continue onto Stora Gatan and then take a left towards the Västerbron bridge. Cross the bridge, and once you’re over, take a left onto Frösåker Brygga road. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the museum located at Frösåker Brygga 7.
