If you are in the city center of Västerås, start at Stora Torget (the main square). Head southeast on Vasagatan towards Västermalmsgatan. Continue straight for about 500 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will reach a roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout and keep following Vasagatan. After a short walk, you will see Botaniska Trädgården on your right side at Vasagatan 31.

From the Västerås Central Station, take bus number 1 towards 'Hälla' or bus number 2 towards 'Vikaholm'. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Vasagatan' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk back a few meters towards the direction of the bus you just came from. Botaniska Trädgården will be on your right at Vasagatan 31.
