Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Östersund, Västerbotten. Head southeast on Storgatan toward Prästgatan, and continue onto E45. Follow E45 for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the junction with E14. Merge onto E14 and continue for about 30 kilometers. Exit onto E20 towards Örebro. After about 120 kilometers, take the exit toward Örebro. Follow signs to the Nature Reserve Kvismaren, which is located at the address 701 86 Örebro. There are signs directing you to the reserve once you are near Örebro. Make sure to check for parking areas near the entrance.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus or train from your location in Västerbotten to Örebro. The bus services such as Länstrafiken or trains operated by SJ are good options. Once you arrive at Örebro Central Station, you can take a local bus (line 6 or 7) towards 'Kvismaren' or a taxi to reach the Nature Reserve. The bus ride from the station to Kvismaren takes approximately 30 minutes. Ensure you check the latest bus schedules and ticket prices on the Länstrafiken website before your trip.
Bicycle
For a more adventurous route, consider biking to Nature Reserve Kvismaren. If you are starting from Östersund, follow the bike paths alongside the E45.
