STF Viterskalet marks the southernmost cabin on the Kungsleden trail's Hemavan-Ammarnäs section, where Sweden's famed 450 km hiking path begins or ends. Surrounding Viterskalet lies an eldorado for ski mountaineers and telemark enthusiasts, with summits like Norra Sytertoppen and Dalåijvies inviting conquests marked in summit guestbooks.
