If you are driving from Umeå, take the E4 highway northbound towards Skellefteå. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit towards Holmön. Follow the signs for Holmöns ferry terminal. You will need to take a ferry from the terminal to Holmön island. Note that there is a ferry fee, which is around 90 SEK for a car and driver. The ferry operates several times a day, so be sure to check the schedule on the Holmön ferry website. Once you arrive on Holmön, follow the main road towards the village of Holmön. The museum is located at Holmöns Båtmuseum, 918 03 Holmön.
