Umeå Östra serves as the primary stop for SJ's intercity trains to Stockholm, featuring Bombardier Regina X55 models with up to four daily services. Night trains operated by Vy Tåg connect to Narvik, Kiruna, Luleå, and Stockholm, splitting or joining at Sundsvall.Norrtåg handles regional routes south to Sundsvall, west to Vännäs and Lycksele, and north to Boden, Luleå, and Haparanda.
