Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Gothenburg (Göteborg) from any location in Västergötland. Use the E20 highway for the quickest route. Upon entering Gothenburg, follow the signs for 'centrum' (city center). Once you reach the city, take the exit for 'Södra Vägen'. Universeum is located at Södra Vägen 50, which should be clearly marked. There is limited street parking available around the area, and be prepared to pay for parking via the parking meters or the parking app.

• Public Transport - Train

  If you prefer to use public transport, take a train to Gothenburg Central Station (Göteborgs Centralstation). Trains run frequently from various locations in Västergötland. Upon arrival at the central station, exit and head towards the tram station located adjacent to the train station. Take tram line 2 (towards Kungssten) or tram line 4 (towards Backa) and disembark at the 'Berzeliigatan' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Universeum, located at Södra Vägen 50.

• Public Transport - Bus

  You can also take a bus to Gothenburg. Various regional buses will bring you to Gothenburg's central bus station. From the bus station, you can either walk to the tram station or directly to Universeum. If walking, head towards Södra Vägen, which is about a 15-minute walk. Alternatively, you can take tram line 2 or 4 as described above. Check the local bus schedules for exact timings and routes.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to Universeum or in central Gothenburg, you can easily walk to Södra Vägen 50. From the city center, head towards the Botanical Garden (Botaniska Trädgården) and continue straight until you reach Universeum. It should take you around 20-30 minutes, depending on your starting point.
