    If you're driving from the city center of Aarau, head south on Bahnhofstrasse toward Poststrasse. Continue straight onto Auensteinstrasse, which will lead you to the A1 highway. Merge onto A1 toward Zurich and take exit 49 toward Habsburg. Follow the signs for Habsburg, and then take Schlossgasse. The castle will be on your right at Schlossgasse 30, 5245 Habsburg. Parking is available near the castle, but check for any fees that may apply.

    Public Transportation

    Begin your journey by taking a train from Aarau Bahnhof (Aarau train station) to the nearby station of Brugg AG. Trains are frequent, and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Brugg AG, transfer to bus line 330 towards Habsburg. Get off at the Schloss Habsburg stop, which is right outside the castle.
