If you're driving, start from central Appenzell. Head north on Landsgemeindeplatz towards Hauptstrasse. Turn left onto Hauptstrasse (Route 28) and follow the signs towards 'Brauerei Locher AG'. After about 1 km, turn right onto Brauereiplatz. The brewery will be on your left at Brauereipl. 1, 9050 Appenzell. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee.

Begin at the Appenzell train station. Take bus line 21 towards 'Schwellbrunn' and get off at the 'Brauerei' stop, which is a short 5-minute ride. From the bus stop, walk about 200 meters to Brauereipl. 1. The brewery is on your right as you approach. The bus fare is approximately CHF 2.50.
