If you're driving from Appenzell, head south on Hauptstrasse towards the main road. Continue on Hauptstrasse for about 3.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto Eggersrieterstrasse. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you see signs for Fünfländerblick on your right. There is a parking area available nearby.

From Appenzell, take the bus line 21 towards Eggersriet. Buses run regularly, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the Eggersriet, Post stop. From there, Fünfländerblick is about a 20-minute walk. Follow the signs leading to Fünfländerblick, which will guide you along a well-marked path through the scenic area.

If you prefer to walk from the Eggersriet, Post bus stop, head east along the road, then take a left onto the marked trail that leads up the hill towards Fünfländerblick. The trail is well-maintained and offers beautiful views along the way. Allow yourself about 20 minutes to reach the observation deck.
