From Appenzell, head south on Hauptstrasse (Main Street) towards the town of Teufen. After approximately 5 kilometers, take the exit towards Teufen. Follow signs for Teufen and continue on the main road. Once in Teufen, look for signs that direct you to Sitter Wasserfall. You can park in nearby public parking areas, but be aware that parking may incur a fee depending on the location.

From the Appenzell train station, take bus number 12 towards Teufen. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes, and you should disembark at the Teufen Post stop. From there, follow the signs towards Sitter Wasserfall, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited on weekends and holidays.

If you are already in Teufen, you can easily walk to Sitter Wasserfall. From the center of Teufen, head southeast on Weg zur Sitter. Follow this road until you reach a fork, then keep left to continue towards Sitter Wasserfall. The total walking distance is about 2 kilometers and will take approximately 25 minutes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for this walk.
