From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Piazza Giuseppe Motta. Catch the bus number 312 towards Riva San Vitale. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After about 10 stops, disembark at the 'Riva San Vitale, Centro' stop. From there, walk towards the lake along Via Lugano for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Piazza del Ponte where Bar Riva Lago is located.

Make your way to the Ascona train station, which is a short walk from the main square. Board a train heading towards Lugano. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Lugano' station.
