From Ascona, walk to the bus stop 'Ascona, Post'. Take bus line 2 towards 'Locarno, Stazione'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Locarno, Stazione'. There, transfer to bus line 5 towards 'Colico'. This journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at 'Colico, Stazione'. From the bus stop, walk along Via Nazionale towards the lake for about 10 minutes until you reach 'Via alle Torri'. The Forte Montecchio Nord will be on your right.

Train and Bus
Walk to 'Ascona, Post' bus stop and take bus line 2 to 'Locarno, Stazione'. Upon arrival, transfer to the train station and take the train to 'Colico'. This train ride takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Colico', exit the train station and walk to 'Colico, Stazione' bus stop. Here, take bus line 5 towards 'Colico, Forte Montecchio'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Colico, Forte Montecchio' which is right next to the attraction.

Here, switch to bus line 5 towards 'Colico'. This bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Get off at 'Colico, Stazione' and walk towards 'Via alle Torri' for about 10 minutes. The Forte Montecchio Nord will be to your right on 'Via alle Torri'.
