From Ascona, start at the Piazza Giuseppe Motta, the main square. Head towards the lakefront promenade, following the path along the lake. Once you arrive at the Lugano ferry terminal, exit and walk straight towards the main road, Via Nassa. Turn right and follow the signs towards Gandria.
