Bus
From Ascona, walk to the Ascona Posta bus stop. Take the PostBus line towards 'Lavertezzo'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Verzasca' stop. From there, follow the signs towards the waterfall, 'La Froda', which is approximately a 15-minute walk. You'll find the path leading to the waterfall well marked.
Bike
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Ascona. Head east towards the main road and follow it to the 'Verzasca Valley'. The ride should take about 45 minutes, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way. Once you reach 'Verzasca', park your bike at the designated area and walk to 'La Froda', which is a short 10-minute walk from the main road.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and are up for a longer walk, you can start from the center of Ascona. Head to the main road, 'Via della Libertà', and follow it towards 'Verzasca'. The walk is about 5 kilometers and will take roughly 1 hour. As you approach the valley, you will see signs directing you towards 'La Froda'. The final stretch involves a scenic trail leading directly to the waterfall.
