If you are in the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade. Walk along the main street, Via Borgo, until you reach the waterfront. Continue walking straight along the promenade, which is known as Lungolago, following the path that runs parallel to the lake. In about 10-15 minutes, you will arrive at the beautiful Lake Maggiore. The stunning views and serene atmosphere make this a perfect destination for relaxation and enjoying nature.

From the center of Ascona, make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Ascona, Piazza' located on the main square. Take bus line 1 in the direction of 'Locarno, Stazione'. Get off at the stop 'Locarno, Lungolago', which is a short ride away. From there, walk along the waterfront until you reach Lake Maggiore. The entire journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes including the bus ride and walking.
