Walking
From the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade (Lungolago). Walk along the promenade towards the north until you reach the ferry terminal. Once there, take the ferry to Stresa. The ferry ride is scenic and takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Stresa, exit the ferry and walk straight along Corso Umberto I. Continue for about 5 minutes until you reach Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, which is located at Corso Umberto I, 71. You’ll find the park area right in the square.
Public Transport
From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located along Via delle Scuole. Catch bus number 311 towards Verbania. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Stresa stop. Once you disembark, walk along Corso Umberto I for about 5 minutes to reach Piazza Guglielmo Marconi located at Corso Umberto I, 71.
