Start at the Ascona Piazza. From the main square, head southeast towards the lakefront. Continue walking along the lakeside promenade, enjoying the scenic views of Lake Maggiore. After a short while, you will reach the road named Via delle Scuole. Turn left onto Via delle Scuole and follow it as it curves into Via Albarelle. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the path; take the right path which leads you up towards Sentiero Romano. Follow the trail signs for Sentiero Romano until you arrive at your destination.
