Walking
From the center of Ascona, head towards the lakefront promenade along the Via Borgo. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the ferry terminal. Here, you will find boats that take you across Lake Maggiore to the town of Luino in Italy. Upon reaching Luino, follow the signs to the train station, which is nearby. Take the train from Luino to Como. Once you arrive in Como, exit the train station and walk towards the lake. P.za Alessandro Volta is a short walk from the station, located along the lakeside.
Ferry and Train
Start from Ascona and walk to the ferry terminal by the lake. Take a ferry to the town of Luino. Once you disembark in Luino, make your way to the train station. Board a train towards Como. After arriving at Como, follow the signs leading to the city center, and you will soon find P.za Alessandro Volta near the waterfront.
Public Transport
From Ascona, head to the nearest bus stop and take a bus towards Locarno. In Locarno, transfer to a bus that goes to the town of Luino. After reaching Luino, walk to the train station and catch a train to Como. Once you arrive in Como, P.za Alessandro Volta is within walking distance from the train station along the lakeside.
