Walking
From the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade. Walk along the promenade in the direction of Locarno. Continue walking until you reach the ferry terminal. From here, you can take a ferry to Como. Once you arrive in Como, exit the ferry terminal and head towards the main street (Viale Geno). Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza Giacomo Matteotti, which is a popular square in the center of Como.

From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Via delle Scuole. Take bus number 2 towards Locarno. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at Locarno train station. From Locarno train station, take the train to Como. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Como train station, exit the station and walk to Piazza Giacomo Matteotti by heading straight along Viale Geno for about 10 minutes.
