From the center of Ascona, head southeast towards the lakefront promenade. Walk along the promenade until you reach the intersection with Via G. Motta. Turn left onto Via G. Motta and continue walking until you reach the bus station at the end of the street. From there, take bus line 1 towards Stresa. The bus will take you across the beautiful landscape of Lake Maggiore. Alight at the Stresa bus station. Once you get off, walk straight down the main road until you reach Piazza Marconi, which is a prominent square in Stresa, located directly in front of the lake.

Start at Ascona's main bus station located near the lake. Board the bus heading to Stresa, which should be indicated on the electronic timetable. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Stresa bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the waterfront. Piazza Marconi is just a short stroll away, located along the lakeside, where you'll find stunning views of Lake Maggiore.
