If you are already in the heart of Grossbasel, the Tinguely Fountain is easily reachable on foot. Start by heading towards Kunstmuseum Basel, which is a well-known landmark. From there, walk down St. Alban-Graben street until you reach the intersection with Klostergasse. Turn left onto Klostergasse, and continue straight for about 200 meters. You will see the Tinguely Fountain on your right-hand side, located at Klostergasse 7.

If you're further away, you can take a tram to get closer to the Tinguely Fountain. Board tram line 10 or 8 at any tram stop in Grossbasel. If traveling from the central area, get on at 'Basel, Marktplatz' tram stop. Ride the tram towards 'Basel, Bahnhof SBB' and disembark at 'Basel, Kunstmuseum' stop. From there, walk down St. Alban-Graben street, turn left onto Klostergasse, and the fountain will be on your right in about 200 meters. Please note that a single tram ticket costs CHF 3.50.
