Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Bern Main Train Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstrasse. Walk straight along Bahnhofstrasse for about 10 minutes, passing by various shops and cafes. As you approach the end of Bahnhofstrasse, you will see the Federal Palace (Bundeshaus) ahead. Continue walking straight, and you will find Bundesplatz directly in front of you, just past the Federal Palace.

Tram
From the Bern Main Train Station, take tram line 9 (direction: Wabern) or tram line 10 (direction: Gümmenen). Get off at the 'Bundesplatz' stop, which is just a short ride away (approximately 5-7 minutes). Once you exit the tram, you will be directly at Bundesplatz, with the Federal Palace on one side.

If you are at the Zytglogge (Clock Tower), walk straight down Kramgasse towards the Federal Palace. This should take about 15 minutes. Continue walking until you reach the Bundesplatz, which will be in front of you as you approach the Federal Palace.
