Getting There
Tram
If you are near the Bern main train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), take Tram Line 9 towards 'Gümligen'. Board the tram at the main station's tram stop, which is located just outside the main entrance of the train station. Stay on the tram for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Tierpark' stop. From there, walk straight down the Tierparkweg, and you will arrive at Dählhölzli Zoo in approximately 5 minutes.
Bus
From the Bern main train station, you can also take Bus Line 21 towards 'Ostring'. Board the bus at the bus stop located outside the train station. Ride the bus for around 15 minutes and get off at the 'Tierpark' stop. After getting off, walk along Tierparkweg for about 5 minutes to reach Dählhölzli Zoo.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the Bern main train station and head east toward the Zytglogge clock tower. Continue straight along Kramgasse and follow the road signs towards the 'Dählhölzli'. The walk takes around 30 minutes, passing through the beautiful old town and along the Aare river. Eventually, you will find Tierparkweg, and Dählhölzli Zoo will be on your left.
