If you are near Bern's main train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), head to the tram stop located right outside the station. Take tram number 9 towards 'Wabern', and ride for about 5 stops. Get off at 'Zytglogge' stop. From there, walk straight down Kramgasse, passing the famous Zytglogge clock tower. Continue until you reach the intersection with Münsterplattform. Turn left onto Münsterplattform, and after a short walk, you will see the entrance to the Universität Bern Botanical Garden on your right at Altenbergrain 21.

From the city center, locate the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 11 towards 'Gümligen' or bus number 21 towards 'Wabern'. Ride for about 4 stops and get off at 'Altenbergrain'. The Universität Bern Botanical Garden is just a short walk from the bus stop. Head straight and you will see the entrance at Altenbergrain 21.

If you are staying in the city center, you can walk to the Universität Bern Botanical Garden. Start from the Bundesplatz, and walk east towards the main university buildings. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Altenbergrain. Turn right onto Altenbergrain and walk for about 10 minutes. The botanical garden will be on your left at Altenbergrain 21.
