Getting There

Tram
To get to Interlaken Tourismus from the center of Bern, head to the nearest tram stop, 'Bern, Bahnhof'. Take tram line 9 towards 'Gümligen'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Bern, Guisanplatz Expo' stop. From there, transfer to train services. Take a train towards Interlaken Ost. The train journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Interlaken Ost', exit the station and follow the signs pointing to the city center. It is about a 15-minute walk to the Interlaken Tourismus, located at Marktgasse 1.

Train
If you prefer to go directly to Interlaken, go to the Bern main train station ('Bern, Bahnhof'). Purchase a ticket to Interlaken Ost. Trains run regularly, and the journey will take around 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Interlaken Ost, exit the station and walk towards the main street. Continue straight until you reach Marktgasse. The Interlaken Tourismus is located on Marktgasse 1, just a short walk from the station.

Bus
You can also take a bus from Bern to Interlaken. Go to the 'Bern, Zytglogge' bus stop, which is a central location. Look for 'PostAuto' buses heading to Interlaken. The bus ride typically takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Interlaken bus terminal, exit the bus and walk towards Marktgasse. The Interlaken Tourismus will be located at Marktgasse 1, a few minutes' walk from the bus terminal.
