Getting There

    From Bern's main train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), purchase a ticket to Neuchâtel. Trains to Neuchâtel run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Neuchâtel train station, exit the station and follow the signs to the lake, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.

  • Bus

    You can also take a bus from Bern to Neuchâtel. Take bus number 10 from Bern to Wabern, then transfer to bus number 11 towards Neuchâtel. The total travel time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Neuchâtel bus station, walk towards the lake which is about 10 minutes away.
