Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Fribourg. Head east on Route du Midi towards Boulevard de Pérolles. Continue straight onto Boulevard de Pérolles and follow it until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Gare. Turn left onto Avenue de la Gare, then take the first right onto Rue de Romont. Continue on Rue de Romont, and then take a left onto Derrière-les-Remparts. You will find parking options along this street or nearby. The Belluard Wall is a short walk from where you park.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, start at Fribourg's main train station (Gare de Fribourg). From the train station, take bus number 5 towards 'Tavilon'. Get off at the stop named 'Derrière-les-Remparts'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance down Derrière-les-Remparts, and you will see the Belluard Wall. The bus ticket costs around CHF 3.00 for a single journey.

• Walking

  If you are already in the city center, you can walk to Belluard Wall. From the main square (Place du Marché), head southwest towards Rue de Lausanne. Follow Rue de Lausanne until it turns into Rue de Romont. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Derrière-les-Remparts. Turn left onto Derrière-les-Remparts, and the Belluard Wall will be on your left. This walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
