From Bern's main train station (Bern Bahnhof), take a train towards Fribourg. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Fribourg station, exit the station and turn left onto Rue de l'Industrie. Follow this street until you reach the bus station. From there, take bus number 2 towards 'Fribourg, Chassotte'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Fribourg, Pont-Suspendu' stop. The St-Nicolas Cathedral is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head straight on Rue du Pont-Suspendu, and you will see the cathedral ahead.

After 5 stops (approximately 10 minutes), get off at 'Fribourg, Pont-Suspendu'. The cathedral is just a 2-minute walk from the bus stop. Walk straight down Rue du Pont-Suspendu, and you will see the cathedral in front of you.

If you are in the city center of Fribourg, you can walk to St-Nicolas Cathedral. From the main square (Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville), head northeast on Rue de l'Hôpital. Continue straight for about 15 minutes, passing through the charming streets of Fribourg. When you reach Rue du Pont-Suspendu, turn left, and the cathedral will be ahead of you. The walk is about 1.2 km and offers beautiful views of the city.
