Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Bern Main Train Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstrasse. Walk straight down this road until you reach the Bundesplatz (Federal Square), where the Federal Palace is located. From Bundesplatz, take the street to your left, which leads to Kramgasse. Continue walking along Kramgasse for about 10 minutes. Einstein House will be on your left at Kramgasse 49. Look for the sign outside; the entrance is a small door.

    From Bern Main Train Station, board tram line 9 (direction: Wabern, Schloss) or tram line 7 (direction: Gümligen). Get off at the Zytglogge stop. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Zytglogge clock tower. From there, head down Kramgasse, which is the street directly in front of you. Walk for about 5 minutes, and you will find Einstein House on your right at Kramgasse 49.

    You can take bus line 10 from the Bern Main Train Station, direction: Flughafen (Airport). Alight at the stop called 'Zytglogge'. After exiting the bus, walk towards the Zytglogge clock tower.
