Walking
If you are starting from Bern's main train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head southeast towards Bahnhofplatz. Once you reach the square, take the first left onto Kramgasse, which is a famous street lined with shops and historic buildings. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Zytglogge (Clock Tower). From the Zytglogge, continue straight onto Kramgasse until you reach the end of the street, then turn right onto Herrengasse. Herrengassbrunnen will be on your left side, just a short walk down the street.
Tram
From Bern Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 9 in the direction of Guisanplatz Expo. Ride for 2 stops and get off at the 'Zytglogge' stop. From there, head northwest on Kramgasse and follow the same directions as the walking route: walk straight until you reach the end of Kramgasse, turn right onto Herrengasse, and you will find Herrengassbrunnen on your left.
