Walking
If you are starting from Bern's main train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the east on Bahnhofplatz. Follow the main road, Kramgasse, which leads you directly into the Old Town. As you walk, take in the beautiful architecture. Continue walking straight on Kramgasse for about 10-15 minutes; Zytglogge will be on your right-hand side at Bim Zytglogge 1. You can’t miss it, as it is one of the most iconic landmarks in Bern.
Tram
From Bern Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 9 towards 'Grosser Muristalden'. Get off at the 'Zytglogge' stop. This tram ride will take approximately 5 minutes. Once you arrive at the Zytglogge stop, exit the tram and walk a short distance to your left. The Zytglogge clock tower will be right in front of you.
Public Bus
From the Bern Hauptbahnhof, you can catch bus number 11 or 20 towards 'Grosser Muristalden'. Alight at the 'Zytglogge' bus stop, which is just a couple of stops away. Once you get off, walk a few steps, and you will see the Zytglogge directly ahead.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing services available in Bern. Head downtown towards the Old Town, following the signs for the historical center. It's a scenic ride and will take about 10-15 minutes from the main train station to reach Zytglogge. There are bike racks available near the clock tower.
