Getting There

  • Public Transportation - Train

    From any location in Bernese Oberland, head to the nearest train station. If you are in Interlaken, take a train to Lauterbrunnen. From Lauterbrunnen, board the train towards Grindelwald. At Grindelwald, transfer to the Eiger Express, which will take you to the Eigergletscher station. Finally, from Eigergletscher, take the Jungfrau Railway to Jungfraujoch. The total journey time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, and the cost for a round trip from Interlaken is around CHF 100-150, depending on the season and your rail pass.

  • Car - Drive and Park

    If you are driving, make your way to Interlaken, which is the best starting point. From Interlaken, take the A8 highway towards Lauterbrunnen. Follow the signs to Lauterbrunnen and then continue towards Grindelwald. Park your car in one of the parking areas in Grindelwald (note that parking fees may apply). From Grindelwald, you will need to switch to public transportation as cars are not allowed on the final stretch to Jungfraujoch.
