After about 20 minutes, take the exit towards Unterseen. Follow the signs to Unterseen and then to Weissenau. You will find parking available near the viewpoint, but be aware that it may incur a small parking fee (approximately CHF 5 for a few hours). The Thunersee Viewpoint is a short walk from the parking area.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a train from your current location to Interlaken West station. From Interlaken West, transfer to the local bus service (Bus 21 or 104) towards Unterseen. Get off at the 'Weissenau' bus stop. From there, it is a short walk to the Thunersee Viewpoint. The total cost for the train and bus fare should be around CHF 10-15 depending on your starting point.

If you are staying in Unterseen, you can enjoy a lovely walk to the viewpoint. Start from the center of Unterseen and walk towards the lake. Follow the signs towards Weissenau.
