If you are traveling by car, take the A1 motorway towards St. Gallen. From St. Gallen, follow the signs for the A13 motorway toward Chur. Take exit 83 for Appenzell and continue on the road towards Schwägalp. Once you reach Schwägalp, follow the signs to the Säntis Schwebebahn. There is a parking area available at the base of the cable car station, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

For those using public transportation, take a train from your location in Eastern Switzerland to the nearest train station, which is Appenzell. From Appenzell, you can take a bus (PostBus) to Schwägalp. The bus service runs regularly, but check the timetable for exact departure times. The bus will drop you off at the Säntis Schwebebahn station, where you can purchase tickets for the cable car to reach the summit of Säntis.
