If you are driving from the center of Emmental, begin your journey by heading towards the A6 motorway. Follow the signs for Bern and continue on the A6 until you reach the A2 interchange. Take the A2 towards Lucerne. After approximately 30 kilometers, take exit 30-Luzern-Zentral onto Renggstrasse. Continue along Renggstrasse and follow signs for Lucerne city center. Once you reach the city, follow the signs for 'Reusssteg'. There is parking available in the nearby garages, such as the Bahnhofparking or Kesselturm Parking. Take bus number 1, direction to 'Kriens, Hub', and get off at the 'Reusssteg' stop. The Lucerne Needle Dam is a short walk from the bus stop, so just head toward the river and look for the dam's prominent structure.
