Car

From the center of Emmental, take the A6 motorway towards Thun. Continue on the A6 for about 20 kilometers. Take exit 28-Thun-Nord and follow the signs for Thun. Once you reach Thun, follow the signs to Oberhofen. Drive along the lakefront road (Oberhofenerstrasse) for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see Schloss Oberhofen on your left at Schloss 4, 3653 Oberhofen am Thunersee. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation

From the Emmental region, take a train from your nearest station to Thun, which is well connected via the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). The journey typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Thun train station, exit the station and catch bus number 21 towards Oberhofen. Get off at the stop 'Schloss Oberhofen'. The castle is just a short walk from the bus stop. You will see the castle from the bus stop, which is located right by the lakeside.
