Car
If you are driving from Engelberg, start by heading northeast on Dorfstrasse toward Gerschniweg. Continue straight to stay on Dorfstrasse, which will take you out of Engelberg. After about 12 kilometers, you will merge onto the A2 motorway towards Lucerne. Stay on the A2 for approximately 20 kilometers, then take exit 30-Lucerne/Emmen Nord. Follow the signs for Lucerne and merge onto the A34. Continue on this road, and take the exit toward Lucerne City Center. Follow the signs for Kapellplatz, and upon entering Lucerne, turn right onto Pilatusstrasse. Continue straight until you reach Kapellpl. 1, which is located near the famous Chapel Bridge.

To reach Kapellpl. 1 using public transportation, start by walking to the Engelberg train station. Board the train heading to Lucerne; trains run frequently and the journey takes about 45 minutes.
