Getting There

Car
From Engelberg, head southeast on Bahnhofstrasse toward Dorfstrasse. Continue straight onto the main road (A2) heading toward Lucerne. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit toward Innertkirchen. Merge onto the main road (A6) and follow the signs for Innertkirchen. Once in Innertkirchen, follow the signs for Stein Glacier. The glacier is located a few kilometers outside of the town, and you will find parking available nearby.

Public Transportation
From Engelberg, walk to the Engelberg train station. Take the train towards Lucerne. At Lucerne, transfer to a train heading towards Interlaken Ost. Get off at the Innertkirchen station. From the Innertkirchen train station, you can either take a local bus that goes towards Stein Glacier or walk, which will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Follow the signs for Stein Glacier once you are on the local road.
