Getting There

  • Tram

    From the center of Geneva, make your way to the 'Cornavin' train station. Look for tram line 18, which is marked with a green sign. Board tram 18 heading towards 'Meyrin', and enjoy the scenic ride. You will travel for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'CERN' stop. Once you exit the tram, follow the signs for CERN Science Gateway, which is just a short walk from the tram stop.

    If you prefer to take a bus, head to the main bus terminal at 'Gare Routière', adjacent to the 'Cornavin' train station. Look for bus line 23 heading towards 'Aéroport'. Ride the bus for about 25 minutes and get off at 'CERN'. After disembarking, follow the pedestrian path towards the CERN Science Gateway, which is easily visible from the bus stop.
