Public Transport - Tram
Start at the Geneva Cornavin train station. From there, take Tram line 18 in the direction of 'Moillesulaz'. Ride for about 10 stops and get off at 'Moillesulaz'. Once you exit the tram, you will see a bus stop nearby. Take Bus line 8 towards 'Beaumont' and ride for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Beaumont' stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs leading to the Salève, which is a short walk away.
Public Transport - Train
From Geneva Cornavin train station, take a train towards 'Annemasse'. Trains run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. Once you arrive at 'Annemasse' station, exit the train and follow the signs to the bus station nearby. Take Bus line 5 towards 'Beaumont - La Grange'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Beaumont' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the base of Salève.
Walking
If you are near the Geneva lakeside, head towards the Jet d'Eau fountain. From there, walk along the lakeside promenade towards the 'Pont du Mont-Blanc'. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the 'Gare des Eaux-Vives'. From there, you can catch a train to 'Annemasse' and follow the train instructions to reach Beaumont. Alternatively, you can take Tram line 12 from the Promenade du Lac towards 'Nations' and transfer to line 18 at the 'Nations' stop.
